Bringing “Vision” to Life
Social media focused work with animations for two optics shops.
Background
A small optics shop needs great visuals to draw in more customers. With colourful, straightforward posters, TV animations, LED walls and various printed materials, I managed to bring people in.
My role
In these small businesses I made the visuals both for the store and for the online presence: social media posts, LED posters, TV animations, and printed posters and materials.
Social media
We used Facebook as the main platform to tell people about current discounts. Using the vibrant colours of the Kodak brand, I made the posts more memorable.
These posts also had versions for printed posters and TV animations to pull people in locally.
Animations
For certain topics, we wanted to leave a stronger impression, so I created short animations to highlight key services or messages. One example showcases laser-based glasses repair, designed to grab attention quickly and explain the process clearly.
Campaign
October is the month of vision, and a country-wide company offers a collaboration with smaller shops during this time.
The colours, icons and style are set, but the topic, pictures and other aspects can be chosen by the shop itself.
Logo design
I also designed a logo for Cellza, from the first sketches to a final set in colour, white, black and grey, horizontal and vertical, with the motto “Szemrebbenés nélkül minden nap” (every day, without batting an eye).

Printed materials
For the shops I also designed printed materials, from price lists to loyalty cards.

Conclusion
As this was my first real work experience, I learned a lot from it.
The most significant lesson was communicating and working with people who aren't designers, and finding ways to get my ideas across to them. I also took care of the post texts and turning them into ads.
I learned something new every day and gained precious experience I still build on today.
